Article: The President has a list

“The President has a list.”

“ Try this thought experiment: You decide to donate money to Mitt Romney. You want change in the Oval Office, so you engage in your democratic right to send a check.
Several days later, President Barack Obama, the most powerful man on the planet, singles you out by name. His campaign brands you a Romney donor, shames you for "betting against America," and accuses you of having a "less-than-reputable" record. The message from the man who controls the Justice Department (which can indict you), the SEC (which can fine you), and the IRS (which can audit you), is clear: You made a mistake donating that money.
Are you worried?
Richard Nixon's "enemies list" appalled the country for the simple reason that presidents hold a unique trust. Unlike senators or congressmen, presidents alone represent all Americans. Their powers—to jail, to fine, to bankrupt—are also so vast as to require restraint. Any president who targets a private citizen for his politics is de facto engaged in government intimidation and threats. This is why presidents since Nixon have carefully avoided the practice.
Save Mr. Obama, who acknowledges no rules. This past week, one of his campaign websites posted an item entitled "Behind the curtain: A brief history of Romney's donors." In the post, the Obama campaign named and shamed eight private citizens who had donated to his opponent. Describing the givers as all having "less-than-reputable records," the post went on to make the extraordinary accusations that "quite a few" have also been "on the wrong side of the law" and profiting at "the expense of so many Americans."

Say, have you used your God-Given and Constitutional Right to contribute to somebody’s Presidential Campaign?  It doesn’t matter who you gave to, but did you give?  If you did, isn’t it wonderful to live in a free Country where you can do such things without fear of reprisals by an out of control government?  Or an out of control megalomaniac who doesn’t give a flying leap for the rule of law?

Yes Virginia, I’m talking about “Mmm!  Mmm!  Mmm!  Barack Hussein Obama!” the one on the Oval Orifice who doesn’t care about the Constitution.  He wouldn’t know what it was if it knocked him over.  (NOTE TO the Slackless Service and Department of Hussein’s Sycophants; I am not advocating violence against the Obamessiah.  This is used to illustrate a point.)

Perhaps after I donate to Mr Romney’s campaign, using my God-Given and Constitutional right to do so, Mr Obama will send the Slackless Service (oh, I’m sorry, the Secret Service!) to investigate me.  Hopefully, those agents will keep their trousers on and their “Anthony Wieners” inside?  Or he could order Janet Clownitano and the Department of Hussein’s Sycophants to arrest me?  WAIT!  Why doesn’t he send a TSA “officer” to feel me up!  After all, it appears to be all they’re good for.  That, and making toddlers cry.  That sweet 4-year old girl sure looked like a terrorist to me.  She must’ve been to a Tea Party protest.

Or Mr Obama could send his butt-buddy Mr Richard Trumka out here to “ … take me out.”  Note to Mr Trumka, you come out here, you come by yourself, child.  Then you can show me man to man and face to face (without any of your goons) how mature you are.  Think you can do that?  Because I don’t.  Just to keep you honest (I’m trying not to spit as I write that) I’ll have a member of Law Enforcement of my choosing here.  Just to make sure you obey the rule of law.  Of course, fat chance of that happening.

Tamara Holder owned on Hannity

Wow.

Tamara Holder got her head handed to her.  You might’ve seen it, if not, there’s a link to it at the bottom of the post, but she and Michelle Malkin were on Hannity recently.

Ms Holder brought up the “fact” that unemployment has gone down under Mr Obama.  Actually, it’s gone up.  She does have a partial point; it’s not as high as it had been, but the fact remains that it is still higher than it was when Obama got in office.

She also played another of the liberal’s cards; and that is the idiot or ‘uninformed’ or ‘stupid’ card.  “Well, the stretch is that the average person does not really understand that the large, enormous debt that you continue to talk about really doesn’t hit the person at home as much as … ” and then Mr Hannity started talking over her.

So here we see that we just don’t understand that this massive debt hits us at all.

Mr Hannity also challenged Ms Holder to point out one area where Mr Obama has made things better.  Foreclosures aren’t as high as they’ve been under Obama’s watch, but even they are still higher than they were under Mr Bush.

Now, I’ve taken Mr Bush to task as well for pre-socializing the economy for Mr Obama.

And then, when Mr Hannity brought up the fact that Ms Holder was wrong on everything she said, she picked up another of the liberal’s favourite playing cards:  the name-calling one. “The guy (Mitt Romney) is border-line brain-dead and makes things up as he goes along.  He has no idea what he’s doing and he’s not gonna win …” and I didn’t understand the word after that.

So, in the span of the 6:55 clip, she used two of the liberals favourite playing cards:  the uninformed (or stupid card) and that we just don’t understand about the debt, and the name-calling card and called Mr Romney “ … border-line brain-dead … “  You gotta love the libs!

Credit Where it's due: Obama was right.

What a difference 3+ years makes!

Does anybody remember this moment in Fargo, ND, when then-Senator Obama said this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyLmru6no4U ?

“ The problem is, is that the way that Bush has done it over the last eight years, is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China (*) in the name of our children, driving up our National Debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 Presidents, number 43 added $4 trillion all by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that, that we are going to have to pay back. $30 thousand for every man, woman, and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s un-patriotic.”

I believe in giving credit where it’s due, and Mr Obama was right. Adding $4 trillion over eight years was absolutely irresponsible and reckless. And those who were screaming about it had every right to do so. It was reckless, and it remains reckless.

But now we fast-forward to today, 20-MAR-2012. From CBS News no less, we learn this:

“(CBS News) The National Debt has now increased more during President Obama's three years and two months in office than it did during 8 years of the George W. Bush presidency.
The Debt rose $4.899 trillion during the two terms of the Bush presidency. It has now gone up $4.939 trillion since President Obama took office.

The latest posting from the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department shows the National Debt now stands at $15.566 trillion. It was $10.626 trillion on President Bush's last day in office, which coincided with President Obama's first day.

The National Debt also now exceeds 100% of the nation's Gross Domestic Product, the total value of goods and services.

Mr. Obama has been quick to blame his predecessor for the soaring Debt, saying Mr. Bush paid for two wars and a Medicare prescription drug program with borrowed funds.

The federal budget sent to Congress last month by Mr. Obama, projects the National Debt will continue to rise as far as the eye can see. The budget shows the Debt hitting $16.3 trillion in 2012, $17.5 trillion in 2013 and $25.9 trillion in 2022.” (**)

However, with only a very few exceptions, those who were screaming the loudest about Mr Bush’s folly have remained strangely mute now.

Mr Bush added, according to CBS, $4.899 trillion to our debt over eight years.
Mr Obama added, according to CBS, $4.939 trillion over just over THREE years.

Oops.

If what Mr Bush did was un-patriotic, which I agree it was, isn’t what Mr Obama’s done also un-patriotic?

Just asking.

(*) – This isn’t actually what it’s called. But at least Mr Obama correctly labeled China as a country. The citizens of Eau Claire, WI, however were quite surprised when Mr Obama referred to being in the State of Eau Claire. Students Forced to do Opposition Research on Republicans

The link: http://www.examiner.com/article/va-students-ordered-to-do-opposition-research-on-gop-presidential-candidates

" The Daily Caller reported Thursday that 8th-grade students at Liberty Middle School in Fairfax County, Virginia, were forced to "support President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign by conducting opposition research in class against the Republican presidential candidates."

According to the Daily Caller, students in Michael Denman's class were given the assignment in mid-January. He reportedly broke the Civics Honor's class into four groups - one for each of the GOP Presidential candidates.

They were then told to research each of the candidate's backgrounds and positions, looking for weaknesses.

"From there," Kalyn McMackin wrote, "students were to prepare a strategy paper to exploit those weaknesses and then to send their suggestions to the Obama campaign."

“This assignment was just creepy beyond belief — like something out of East Germany during the Cold War,” one father told the Daily Caller. "

Yet another reason for those who home school their children to keep doing so.

Are you sure there's no liberal indoctrination in schools these days?

Article: Climate Alarmist Calls for Burning Down Skeptics Homes

The link: http://www.infowars.com/climate-alarmist-calls-for-burning-down-skeptics-homes/

" Writing for Forbes Magazine, climate change alarmist Steve Zwick calls for skeptics of man-made global warming to be tracked, hunted down and have their homes burned to the ground, yet another shocking illustration of how eco-fascism is rife within the environmentalist lobby. " (emphasis added.)

And these are the people calling for us to watch our rhetoric. Isn't that nice?

But they're not done!

" Earlier month we highlighted Professor Kari Norgaard’s call for climate skeptics to be likened to racists and ‘treated’ for having a mental disorder. In a letter to Barack Obama, Norgaard also called on the President to ignore the will of the people and suspend democracy in order to enforce draconian ecological mandates.
