Judge Napolitano: Obama Close to Totalitarianism

Back to MS Word. I had something brilliant written, but Google doesn't like it. "Conflicting edits"

Now importing from MS Word:

We all, with the exception of Harry Reid and Chuckie Schumer, know that there are three separate but equal branches of the American government. These are:

The Executive (that’s the President. And I don’t know what he’s done other than play golf)

The Legislative (they enact new legislation)

-and- The Judiciary (they decide what is and what isn’t Constitutional.)

Of course, that’s just a very brief overview of the three branches. Three separate but equal branches of government.

Our Founding Fathers set it up this way, along with a system of checks and balances to help ensure that no one person, or no one branch, could usurp power over the others.

But consider Judge Napolitano’s quote:

“ I think the President is dangerously close to totalitarianism. A few months ago he was saying the Congress doesn’t count, the Congress doesn’t mean anything, I’m going to rule by decree and administrative regulation.

“ Now he’s basically saying the Supreme Court doesn’t count, it doesn’t matter what they think, they can’t review our legislation. That would leave just him as the only branch of government standing. So I think he has some problems with understanding the Consitution, or accepting limitations on his power.” (emphasis added)

Remember; three separate but equal branches of government.
