Article: " 'Let them eat cake' Democrats"

This is just sooooo juicy. And while I'd love to repost it word for juicy word, I don't have permission to do so, and besides that, it would be wrong.

But it is sooooooooooooooooo juicy.

So I will quote from only a part of it:

" It is laughably absurd for liberals to attack Americans for exercising their First Amendment rights, when they have organized the following: massive protests that shut down college campuses and, indeed, entire cities during the Vietnam War; marched en masse during the nuclear-freeze movement in the 1980s; organized corporate shakedowns to force race-based initiatives; set up a lawn-chair village outside President George W. Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch during the Iraq war -- and disrupted congressional hearings, got in the face (literally) of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and called Gen. David H. Petraeus "General Betray Us"; and orchestrated nationwide vote fraud by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party in Philadelphia. (I could go on, but The Washington Times is only so many pages long.) "

Sounds about right for the libs, as the writer herself noted elsewhere in the article, the libs don't seem to realize that there is another side to any issue.

This article is, in my opinion, a must read. A MUST read.

I've pointed out the liberal's hypocrisy before, right here on this blog. And I'll be the first to admit that quite a few Republicans also fit that bill. It appears to be a universal trait for a politician.

But I need to add one more thing, and for it I have to apologize. If you've read this blog for any length of time, you'll know that I'm neither a racist nor a sexist. However, I was called this again today during our group's Friday get together.

So here it is, for the record. (And Sam, if you're reading this, this is for you: )

I would have no problem with an African-American being the President, so long as I agree with his or her positions. For me, it's not because Barack Hussein Obama is an African-American, it's because I believe him to be a socialist.

I would welcome an African-American President, so long as I agreed with them. But J.C Watts wasn't running. Alan Keyes didn't win. General Colin Powell (former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) wasn't running. For the record, Sam, I would have voted for any of these men.

But for those people who to this day also call me "sexist" because I 'dared' to speak out against Hillary Clinton, I would have no problem with a woman being the President. But Dr. Condoleezza Rice (former Secretary of State) wasn't running. And since she's also African-American, that takes both of your favourite cards right off the table.

For the record, Sam, for me it's not about race or gender. It's about the politician's positions and whether or not I agree with them.

I hope that clears it up.
