"ACORN Registers Mickey Mouse" ????

And at the bottom, "Obama campaign now distancing..." Odd that. Remember how Obama was shrieking that he had no ties to ACORN? That he'd never taught a class for them? That he was never a member? Here's the link to that article:
http://www.tampabay.com/news/politics/elections/article852295.ece

Remember, ACORN has said these are all "isolated incidents." But let's take a look at the bottom "Obama campaign now distancing..." which leads here: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122394051071230749.html?mod=djemEditorialPage

(Notice please the last part. It says "Editorial Page" which means that we're going to be reading from an Opinion-Editorial article.) However, even in editorial pages, one must keep to the facts. Otherwise, you'd really open yourself up for a lawsuit for libel, defamation of character and/or slander. So, we're going to get the writer's opinion based on facts. Here we go:

"It [ACORN] was a major contributor to the subprime meltdown by pushing lenders to make home loans on easy terms, conducting "strikes" against banks so they'd lower credit standards.
But the organization's real genius is getting American taxpayers to foot the bill. According to a 2006 report from the Employment Policies Institute (EPI), Acorn has been on the federal take since 1977." (emphasis added)

As Rush Limbaugh would say "STOP THE PRESSES!!!" "It [ACORN] was a major contributor to the subprime meltdown by pushing lenders [banks and financial institutions] to make home loans on easy terms, conducting "strikes" against banks so they'd lower credit standards."

Strikes??? "ACORN’s Hypocritical House of Cards: How One “Community” Group Helped the Housing Crisis Harm Taxpayers. Read about that at http://www.consumersrightsleague.org/UploadedFiles/ACORN_AHC_Report.pdf LInk: http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/09/27/consumer-rights-league-obama-acorn-and-the-subprime-mortgage/

No ties? You really need to read the backstory here. But from what's in there, it appears that ACORN helped engineer the subprime meltdown by forcing banks to give loans to people who could not repay them.

the Obamedia won't touch this, of course. How could you dare say anything bad about the Obamessiah? You must have hate in your heart!!

On the Federal take since 1977. This is 2008. Let's see ... remember, according to my now ex-wife I'm not too smart, so bear with me. 2008 - 1977 = 31. 31 YEARS.

Let's also not forget that ACORN is now under investigation in FOURTEEN states! What are some of those states?

Nevada,
Ohio,
Florida,
Wisconsin,
Missouri,
Texas,
Indiana,
Colorado,
Connecticut,
Michigan, and four more.

FOURTEEN! "Isolated incidents?" Time for more math. And I do apologize, but I have to do this. Remember, my now ex-wife has said I'm not too smart, so I need to present my work.

There are 50 states in the United States. (And I am sorry Puerto Rico, but since you're not a state, I cannot count you. I really wish I could.) So, 50 states.

ACORN is being investigated in 14. 14 / 50 = .28. Or, 28% of states. That's better than one out of every four.

JUST FOR GRINS and giggles, let's now count Puerto Rico and assume there are 51 states.

14 / 51 = 0.27450980392156862745098039215686 Or simply put 27.45% That's still better than one out of every four (which would be 25%.)

Isolated incidents?

"The Justice Department needs to treat these fraud reports as something larger than a few local violators. The question is whether Acorn is systematically subverting U.S. election law -- on the taxpayer's dime." (Same WSJ article)

AMEN.
